All the presentations had a vital importance

diseases can be a cross border threat.
Participants were shown to the cultivation of the pathogen in the laboratory in a special
environment. They were presented to the active movements of the bacteria by the help of the
microscope. Besides vets were shown to the serological test of the infection agent’s detection
which helps to diagnose the disease. Participants
learnt about important transboundry animal
diseases laboratory diagnosis, control, laws for
liquidation in Austria. Overall trainings organized
by AGES totaled up to 32 hours.
In addition, by the request of one of the
participants vets went to the private vet clinic in
Vienna (TIERARTZ GmbH Dr. GLATZL). They
saw foreign private vet clinic example, explored vet specialized cars (vet track) that has a
freezer, special drawers for medicine, vaccines, vet tools.
All these topics are important for giving knowledge to Armenian and Georgian
veterinarians.
